Lloyd’s Register LRQA, a leading independent provider of assurance services including assessment, certification, validation, verification and training across a broad spectrum of standards and schemes, is looking to employ a Food Safety Lead Assessor on a contract basis, to perform external audits.

The successful incumbent should possess the following:

  • Relevant diploma or degree in food safety with microbiology

  • Must be familiar with food safety standards

  • A minimum of three years’ experience as a lead assessor

  • A member of IRCA, SAATCA or equivalent  body, is a must

  • Evidence of completed external assessments using a log book

  • Willing to travel throughout South Africa

  • Own reliable transport
