We are looking for a highly motivated individual to strengthen our team in Johannesburg.

A BEE appointment, the candidate (M/F) should have an extensive knowledge of the mechanical aspects of KHS machines and services.

Chief Duties & Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for KHS clients for service and repair of KHS equipment
  • Installation of machinery and plant components
  • Customer support and care in all service areas
  • Independently carry out maintenance and break-down service
  • Mechanical installation and commissioning
  • Assist with training on KHS machines/equipment
  • Inventorying and recommend spare parts to customers
  • Assist in elimination of technical malfunctions

Vital Skills

  • Qualification as mechanic or comparable education (Trade test or above)
  • Knowledge and experience in the beverage industry
  • Five years' working experience preferable
  • Solutions-oriented mindset; analytical thinking for solving technical tasks
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Advanced knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong team player, comfortable working in a multicultural environment
  • Self-confident and friendly
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Africa

The position is based in Midrand, Gauteng.

Part of the Synercore group, Allmark Foods is a contract blender of wet, dry and paste ingredients for the food industry.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Request samples from suppliers
  • Complete QC checks and complete relevant paperwork
  • Ensure that all lab stock is labelled and stored correctly
  • Compile COAs with swift results
  • Assist with compiling of specification sheets
  • Complete all supplier questionnaires
  • Organise quotes/repairs and services for all lab equipment
  • Assist with functionality testing in the lab
  • Conduct trials
