Jane Badham, Managing Director of JB CONSULTANCY:With a dietetics degree, a masters in nutrition (Consumer use of food labels), a marketing diploma and 20 years of experience advising the food industry in food law and health trends, product health platforming and communication strategies, Jane has been a member of FLAG (The Food Legislation Advisory Group) since its inception and has attended many CODEX Food Labelling Committee meetings and is associated with TReNDS (Training and Research in Nutrition and Dietetics) at the University of the North West.
Moira Byers, Director of CHILL-E FOOD CONSULTANTS:With a dietetics degree, honours in nutrition & dietetics and diploma in food technology, Moira has over 15 years’ experience in the food retail sector and consulting to the industry. As the regulatory affairs officer for Pick n Pay for a number of years, she has been actively involved in the practical implications and implementation of food regulations and labelling. She now has her own food consultancy business, providing support to the food industry in the areas of food safety and auditing, health and nutrition, and food regulation and labelling issues.
Nigel Sunley, Managing Director of SUNLEY CONSULTING:With an honours degree in chemistry and a masters degree in food science, Nigel has over 30 years' food industry experience in a wide range of food categories and has extensive experience of food regulatory matters, particularly in the area of health and nutritionally related issues. Nigel provides technical support to the food industry in a wide range of areas including regulatory matters.
